Whether you need a licence for day-to-day forklift operation, reach stackers and elevated work platforms, our courses teach you to keep materials moving safely on any site. Delivered by trainers with real industry experience, our training prepares you to meet WorkSafe WA licensing requirements across logistics, construction and resources.
It depends on the course. Operating an elevating work platform under 11 metres or a scissor lift has no formal prerequisites. Forklift, boom-type EWP (11 metres or more) and reach stacker licences require you to be at least 18, have basic English and numeracy, and bring photo ID.
All four courses run face to face at our Maddington facility or at your workplace on request.
Completing the under-11m EWP or scissor lift course gets you a Statement of Attainment. Forklift, boom-type EWP and reach stacker courses go further: you get a Statement of Attainment and a High Risk Work Licence in the relevant class, LF for forklift, WP for boom-type EWP, or RS for reach stacker.
High Risk Work Licences for forklifts, boom-type EWPs and reach stackers are issued by WorkSafe WA. Training U delivers the nationally recognised units you need to apply, under RTO 52608.
