Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience or qualifications before I enrol?
It depends on the course. Most Safety and Civil Construction courses have no formal prerequisites. High Risk Work Licence courses, including forklift, cranes, rigging, dogging and scaffolding, require you to be at least 18, have basic English and numeracy, and bring photo ID on the day.
Can you train our team on-site?
Yes. Every course on this page runs at our Maddington facility or at your workplace anywhere in Australia, so your team trains without the cost and downtime of travelling to us.
How do I get my certificate or licence?
Once you pass the assessment, we issue your Statement of Attainment. For High Risk Work Licence courses, you then use that Statement of Attainment to apply for your licence through WorkSafe WA, or we can do they processing for you.
Who regulates these courses and licences?
It depends on the course type. High Risk Work Licences, such as forklift, crane, rigging, dogging and scaffolding tickets, are issued by WorkSafe WA. The Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor exam is conducted by the Department of Mines. Civil Construction and Safety courses are recognised under the Australian AQF framework.
