From 1 January 2015, all students studying nationally recognised training in Australia are required to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). A USI provides students online access to their training records and results (transcripts) through their free online USI account.
A USI is required for new and continuing students undertaking nationally recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses to receive their statements of attainment or qualifications. A USI can be obtained at no cost to students and your USI stays with you for life.
You can apply for a USI via the Australian Government Department of Industry Alternatively, with your permission, Training U can obtain your USI on your behalf.
No. There are no prerequisites for this combined first aid and CPR course.
Yes, this course can delivered onsite and online. The theory component can be completed online or face to face, and the practical component must be completed in person, either at our Rockingham facility or in your workplace on request.
You’ll receive your Statement of Attainment within 30 calendar days of successfully completing the course, in line with the RTO Standards.
This course is delivered against Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines, covering the nationally recognised units HLTAID011 and HLTAID009, under Training U’s RTO registration, 52608.

Yes. The two components run on separate cycles:
Because CPR lapses sooner, you don’t need to redo the entire First Aid course each year just to stay compliant. You can complete the standalone CPR refresher on its own, which routes back to the HLTAID009 course covered above, and only redo the full combined course once every 3 years when your First Aid certificate expires.
This keeps annual compliance quick and inexpensive, while the full requalification only comes around every third year.
