Purpose
This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
The unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

- Review the incident
Course Delivery Mode
Training U conducts this course face to face at its Rockingham facility or clients workplace on request. We offer both face to face and online options for theory, practical must be completed in person.
Course Duration
Face to face delivery only – 16 hours (2 days)
Online theory delivery
- Online component – 5 hours
- Practical component – 8 hours (1 day)

On successful completion of this course the student will receive a Statement of Attainment.
